Metacomet Redevelopment Project

The public comment period regarding the technical feasibility of the preferred remedial alternative is extended until April 28, 2026. All public comments must be made in writing and can be submitted to the Department by email to Hannah Mitchell at hannah.mitchell@dem.ri.gov or mailed to or dropped off at DEM Headquarters, Attn: Hannah Mitchell, 235 Promenade Street, Providence, RI 02908. All comments must be received by the Department by 4:00 pm on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.
