Public Comment Period Information

UPDATE: The record for the meeting held May 12, 2026 will remain open for receipt of public comments for an additional period of time, to conclude seven (7) days after the date the meeting transcript is posted below. This message will be updated with the public comment submission deadline once the meeting transcript has been posted. All public comments must be made in writing and can be submitted to the Department by email to Hannah Mitchell at hannah.mitchell@dem.ri.gov or mailed to or dropped off at DEM Headquarters, Attn: Hannah Mitchell, 235 Promenade Street, Providence, RI 02908. All comments must be received by the Department by 4:30 pm on the final day of the comment period.
