Compliance Assurance

The Office of Air Resources works towards protecting, preserving, and improving air quality by enforcing state and federal rules and regulations, as well as individual facility air permits. Compliance is determined through inspections of stationary sources of air pollution, to regulate the release of pollutants into ambient (outdoor) air. Inspection frequencies depend on the type of permit issued to a facility.
