DEM's Office of Water Resources (OWR) Groundwater and Freshwater Protection Programs have launched a new online system for permits and applications for Freshwater Wetlands, OWTS/Septic, RIPDES Construction General Permit, Water Quality Certification, and Underground Injection Control Programs.
"We are writing to inform you that scheduled maintenance for the OWR Application Portal will occur the next two Thursdays on March 5 and March 12 from 4:00 to 5:00 PM.
Scheduled Maintenance Notice:
The portal will undergo scheduled maintenance on Thursday, March 5, and Thursday, March 12, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM.
During the maintenance windows, the system will be temporarily unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to improve our services.
Search OWR Groundwater Protection Program Records
The OWR Application Portal includes a new search tool for documentation related to active (not expired) applications for
Freshwater Wetlands
Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (OWTS/Septic)
Water Quality Certifications (WQC)
Construction Stormwater (RIPDES CGP) Permits
Underground Injection Control (UIC)
A login is not required to use the new search tool.
Historic permit records will continue to be accessible through the existing permit search tools. DEM plans to combine and enhance the permit and records search experience in a future phase of this project.
