The DEM Division of Law Enforcement operates a 24-hour communications center that provides radio communication to environmental police officers in the field. This center also receives and fields thousands of calls from the public every year pertaining to a wide variety of complaints - from hunting, fishing, and boating to animal complaints, oil spills, and general information on state properties and facilities.

Our communications center is also responsible for answering after-hours calls for the other twenty-three Divisions within DEM. The center answers over 22,000 calls per year.
