Outreach and Education

Building Community and Connections

All officers play an active role in public outreach and education, both on and off patrol. In addition to engaging with the public in the field, officers participate in community events such as fairs, parades, conventions, and charity fundraisers. They visit schools, mentor youth during hunting programs, and teach certified hunter and bowhunter education courses.

Through these efforts, officers promote fish and wildlife conservation, educate the public on state and federal regulations, and build strong community relationships. Outreach and education are among our most effective tools for encouraging voluntary compliance and preventing fish and wildlife violations.
