Join RIDEM Division of Fish and Wildlife and research partners Liam Corcoran and Megan Gray from the University of Rhode Island to learn about recent collaborative research on young forest birds in Rhode Island. Speakers will be focusing on the characteristics of young forest habitat and some of the unique birds that require this habitat for survival, specifically Eastern Towhees, Prairie Warblers, and Eastern Whip-poor-wills. Liam and Megan will share about their fieldwork studying these species and some of the interesting findings of their studies. This program is free to attend, but registration is required so that staff can prepare outreach materials.
