RI Redemption and Recycling Advisory Council Meeting

Date:

DEM, in collaboration with the Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation (RIRRC) and an independent third-party consultant, is conducting an analysis for the Statewide Implementation Analysis (SIA) of a Beverage Container Redemption, Packaging, and Recycling Plan. The study will examine how different recycling and redemption programs could work in Rhode Island and the impacts they may have. The analysis will examine paper, plastic, metal, and glass materials and explore how these programs could improve recycling, reduce waste, and support Rhode Island’s long-term waste management goals.
