The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (RIDEM) and the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency (RIEMA) will be co-hosting the Rhode Island Dam Workshop. The workshop will inform local officials regarding laws on emergency planning for dams. It will also work with local emergency managers and planners on Dam Emergency Action Plans and the submittal process to RIEMA. We ask that you only share with officials within your city or town who have a role in overseeing and planning for dam emergencies.
