Public Engagement: Gull Cove Fishing Area in Portsmouth

Gull Cove Portsmouth

Date:

Location: Common Fence Point Community Center at 933 Anthony Road in Portsmouth.

Join us to learn about DEM’s future plans for the Gull Cove Fishing Access Area in Portsmouth.

Accessible via the northbound side of Route 24, the Gull Cove Fishing Area is a popular recreational access point. The area is a highly visited destination for recreational fishing, small craft boating, and shell fishing.

DEM is designing improvements to support continued recreational access and increase the site’s resiliency. Plans will address erosion, sea level rise, invasive species management, and design concepts for improved overflow parking.

This information session will be an opportunity to engage with the project team and provide your input on designs for the access area.

Feedback from this information session will be used to help inform the final plans to appropriately support the future users of the site.
