State of Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management

The URI Pesticide License Exam Preparation Class is offered on a monthly basis via Zoom for the first half of 2023. This online preparation class is designed to familiarize applicants with the information needed to pass the RI Pesticide License Exam given by the RI Department of Environmental Management (RIDEM). This 2.5-hour training will cover general principles of pesticide application, environmental and personal safety, RI laws, label interpretation, signal words, terminology used in landscaping, commercial and household pest control, and more.
