This virtual workshop is to review the RFP process and assist potential grant applicants.
DEM is pleased to announce the availability of approximately $750,000 in federal funding to assist with the implementation of projects that prevent and abate water pollution from nonpoint sources (NPS) and improve or restore aquatic habitat.
These funds are being targeted to specific watersheds (see list). Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis pursuant to this Request for Proposals (RFP) and require a match commitment.
Final proposals must be received by RIDEM through Rhode Island’s Grant Management System (eCivis) no later than 4:00 p.m. on October 16, 2026.
