Bowhunter Education (2 Evenings)
RIDEM Bowhunter Safety Education Certification Course
Thursday & Friday, September 14th & 15th : 6:00-9:30 pm (must attend both nights)
In a classroom setting you will learn about the basics of modern-day archery hunting and safe hunting practices in accordance with the International Hunter Education Association standards.
This is an evening, weeknight course and there will be no spare time to leave the property for a meal. Please plan accordingly and either eat ahead of time or pack food for our mid-session breaks. A water cooler, microwave, toaster oven, refrigerator, and ADA-compliant bathroom will be available.
Please note: There is a 100-question multiple choice test at the end of the class which is written to a 6th grade/12 year old reading level. Bowhunter safety cards will be mailed out within 5 to 10 business days after successfully passing the written exam. Safety cards have reciprocity with all 50 states.
In-state residents who have completed the online bowhunter safety curriculum DO NOT need to take this course, only schedule an in-person test.
