The Lead by Example program recognizes state agencies, municipal governments, and public schools for investing in clean energy projects that collectively lower Rhode Island's energy use, improve important public infrastructure, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The Clean Energy Awards honor these organizations that are leading by example with their clean energy projects and helping Rhode Island reach its Act on Climate goals.
