Stormwater Management in a Coastal Town

Date:

Location: Barrington Public Library, 281 County Rd, Barrington, RI

Heavy rains and flooding are now common events in our region. As a coastal area already coping with rising sea levels, the challenge of stormwater management adds another layer of complexity. On Monday, April 7, at 7 pm, the Barrington Land Conservation Trust continues its 2025 Learning Series with a free presentation, “Stormwater Management in a Coastal Town.”

The panel discussion will focus on the challenges we face and the solutions available to limit the damage from inland and coastal flooding. The presentation will take place in the Salem Family Auditorium at the Barrington Public Library, the Land Trust’s partner in the event.

Registration is limited to 100 people. Visit https://www.blct.org/event/learning-series-stormwater-management/ to register. All ages are welcome and there is no residency restriction.
