Pursuant to guidelines of the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (RI DEM), Office of Land Revitalization and Sustainable Materials Management (OLRSMM), a Public Hearing will be conducted March 22, 2023 @ 04:00 PM Eastern Time on-line via Zoom at the web address below.

This is to allow public participation and comment with respect to a Beneficial Use Determination (BUD) application, dated January 11, 2023, by Hoffman Engineering Inc. The purpose of this BUD application is to obtain RIDEM variance to allow beneficial reuse of solid waste (e.g., glass) intermixed with soil to be excavated and processed from the Colvintown Road property then transported to the Central Pike property for use as a construction road base as part of a solar array.
