Have you ever pictured yourself on a rambling, peaceful stream in waders, delicately casting a fly rod to catch that elusive fish? Now is your chance to make it a reality! Join RI DEM Division of Fish and Wildlife’s Aquatic Resource Education program to learn how to fly fish. This introductory course will cover the equipment you need, teach you how to tie flies, knots, and how to cast. The workshop will conclude with an opportunity to fish a stocked pond. Lunch and equipment will be provided. Families with children over 10 are welcome. Space is limited and registration is required.
