Grant Webinar: Rhode Island's Urban Forest Assistance Program

The Green Infrastructure Center (GIC) and DEM Division of Agriculture and Forest Environment’s Urban and Community Forestry Program are pleased to announce a new comprehensive program for Rhode Island cities and towns to create and implement strategies to conserve and grow urban tree cover. Rhode Island's Urban Forest Assistance Program will expand the benefits cities and towns receive from urban trees, which provide cleaner air, cooler summer temperatures, reduced flooding, and support outdoor recreation and beautification. Learn how your city, town, or tribe can receive support for 2 years to plan and plant your urban tree cover!
