OWR Online Permit Application
DEM is in the final stages of launching an online permit application portal for Freshwater Wetlands, RIPDES Construction General Permit (CGP), Water Quality Certification (WQC), and Underground Injection Control (UIC) programs.
Phase I: Launches Tuesday, May 6
No applications accepted or permits issued through May 5 for Freshwater Wetlands, RIPDES Construction General Permit, Water Quality Certification, and Underground Injection Control Programs
Completed applications submitted before April 17 will be moved to the new system. Incomplete and New applications must be submitted online starting May 6.
Phase 2 launch: Tuesday, May 20
Thursday, May 1, is the last day DEM will accept OWTS-related paper applications
No applications accepted or permits issued: Friday, May 2 - Monday, May 19 for OWTS Program Permits, Exams, Licenses, and Inspections.
